Our founder, Mylon Hudgins, got his introduction to living without gluten when his wife was diagnosed with Celiac disease. While she went to work, he spent his days doing research on how to make her life easier, and experimenting with various gluten-free alternatives.
With wheat taken out of the picture completely, the door was wide open to find any tasty alternative. While there were plenty of failures, there were also great triumphs. Even though he still ate gluten, he had to learn how to cook every appetizer, meal, snack, and dessert without wheat. Having tried virtually every gluten-free product on the shelf, most times in absolute disgust, he began making his own versions. After nearly a decade of first-hand experience in making creations for the gluten-free world, he realized the business opportunity sitting right in front of him.
